David Letterman BonamassaJoe Bonamassa will be performing this Monday, May 21st on the David Letterman Show as a featured Guest artist with Paul Shaffer and the CBS Orchestra.

This appearance comes the day before the release of his new album Driving Towards The Daylight.  Joe Bonamassa said “I am huge Letterman fan since I was 6 years old and I can’t wait to sit in with Paul Shaffer and his band”.   The David Letterman Show is the first major talk show  in the United States to recognize Joe Bonamassa’s talents for receiving 8 Number one Bill board Blues Records and the torch bearer of Blues Rock Guitar.

Joe Bonamassa and ZZ Top Freddy KingAs we reported earlier on  April 14 the ceremony for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s annual induction ceremony was held. Joe Bonamassa had the honor of being the special guests inducting the blues legend, Freddy King.

Joe took the stage with  Dusty Hill and Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Derek Trucks playing the song Going Down as tribute to Freddy King.

We have now the High Quality video for this performance.
